About the project

LootRanger answers one question: where is this game cheapest right now. Legitimate prices are scattered across dozens of stores, the gap between them reaches 70%, and nobody wants to compare them by hand. That is what sends people to piracy sites — not an unwillingness to pay, but not being able to see where it is cheap. We show them.

How it works

We track prices in dozens of legitimate stores and bring them together in one place. The data updates automatically; we never edit or reorder anything by hand — the order of the table is decided by price alone.

Prices are shown in US dollars. In your region the final amount may differ because of taxes, exchange rates and regional store pricing. We do not guarantee a price: a store can change it at any moment after our data was last refreshed.

PC only

We compare prices for PC versions of games. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch are not supported — and we will not show a platform switcher until there is real data behind it. An empty button is worse than no button: it promises something that does not exist.

Legitimate stores only

There are no pirate links, torrents or «repacks» here, and there never will be. Every «Buy» button leads to a working store where you get a genuine licence.

Store terms differ, and where it matters there is a marker next to the price — so the choice stays yours, not ours.

An honest ranking

Some «Buy» links are affiliate links: if you buy a game after following one from here, we receive a small commission, and your price does not change. That is how the project pays for itself — no ad banners, no paid placement in the table.

What matters more: it has no effect whatsoever on the order of the table. There is only ever one sort order — lowest price to highest, no exceptions. Stores that pay us nothing are shown alongside everyone else, because without them there is no way to tell whether a discount is real. The moment the ranking starts bending toward commission, the site becomes useless — and that is the only reason we do not do it.
