Privacy policy
Updated: 9 August 2026
In short: there are no accounts, we ask you for no data at all, and we do not sell any. Below is exactly what happens when you open the site.
What we collect
- Anonymous visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and creates no visitor identifier. We see only a summary: how many people opened a page, from which country, on what kind of device.
- Technical logs. Cloudflare, our host, processes request IP addresses to protect against attacks and keeps them for a limited time. We do not use those logs and do not build visitor profiles from them.
- Search queries. The game title you type is sent to our server in order to fetch prices. We do not link a query to a person and we do not keep search history.
- Your chosen language. The only cookie we set ourselves:
lr-lang, holding two characters — «ru» or «en». It appears only if you pick a language in the header, and it exists for exactly one purpose: so that your next visit is not bounced back to your browser's language. It contains no identifier and does no tracking. Your theme and saved games use no cookie at all — they live in the browser's localStorage and never reach the server.
Telegram notifications (optional)
If you connect price alerts through our Telegram bot, we store:
- your Telegram chat_id (so the alerts reach you and nobody else);
- the list of games you track and the target price you set.
We do not collect your name, phone number or IP address. The data is kept in a Cloudflare database (D1) and is used solely to send price alerts.
This is voluntary: the data appears only if you connected Telegram alerts yourself.
You can delete it at any time with the /delete command in the bot — it asks
for confirmation and then erases everything: the game list and the link to your chat.
After that we stop tracking and not a single row about you is left in the database.
Questions about data: info@lootranger.com.
What we do not do
- We do not collect names, emails or phone numbers — there is nowhere to enter them.
- We do not set cookies of our own for advertising or tracking.
- We do not sell or pass data to third parties for advertising.
- We show no ad banners and connect no ad networks.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you press «Buy», the click goes through the store's affiliate programme. The store or its affiliate network may set its own cookie in order to know that the buyer came from us and to credit us a commission. That cookie is not set by us and lives by that party's rules (usually 30–90 days). You can manage it in your browser settings — blocking third-party cookies switches it off entirely, and the site keeps working.
Price data comes from CheapShark, giveaway data from Epic Games Store. Game images load from their servers, so those services see the technical fact that an image was requested.
Your rights
Since we store no data that could identify you, there is effectively nothing to request the deletion of. If you still have a question about data, write through the contact page and we will answer.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data (an account login, or price alerts by subscription, for example), we will update this page and the date at the top before the feature goes live.
